About ICONTACTIC
Modular carry for the city.
ICONTACTIC makes carry equipment for people who move through a city with more in their pockets than a phone. Bags, organizers, pouches and belts that attach to each other — technical construction in a form that does not announce itself.
Why we started
It began with one gripe: gear in this category either looks like a uniform or hides what it is. The bag with the good organization comes in camouflage. The discreet bag has one pocket and no specifications. You end up choosing between a product that works and a product you can carry into a meeting.
So we build the system the other way around. Bags, organizers, pouches and belts that attach to each other. Technical construction in a form that does not shout. And a rule we hold ourselves to on every page: publish the specification when it is verified, and say so when it is not.
One system. Every day.
Four things we do not bend on
Specification over adjective
Every dimension, material and weight says where it came from: measured by us on the production unit, or taken from supplier documentation and labelled as such. A number with no source never goes up, and a field with neither stays marked pending. “Rugged” is not a measurement.
Built to attach
Pouches, organizers, bags and belts share one attachment system. A pouch you buy for a belt still mounts to a pack. Third-party gear on standard modular webbing fits where the spacing matches.
Performance without the uniform
The construction is technical. The silhouette is not tactical cosplay. You should be able to wear it to work, on a range day and on a flight without three different bags.
The inside, open and empty
Every bag is photographed open and empty. You judge capacity from the real layout before you order, not from a styled shot with a jacket stuffed in the main compartment.
How a number gets onto a product page
This is the part most brands skip, so here it is in full.
The claim arrives
A supplier sheet, a sample, a spec from a factory. At this point it is a claim, and it never goes on the site unlabelled.
We measure the production unit
Not the prototype, not the photo sample — the unit that will actually be shipped. Dimensions, materials, capacity, weight.
Published with its source, or marked pending
A figure we have measured is published as measured. A figure that exists only in the supplier documentation is published and labelled supplier-published, so you always know which one you are reading. If we have neither, the page says the field is pending. Nobody has to guess what we are hiding.
Nothing gets upgraded by adjective
We do not describe fabric as ballistic or protective, we do not claim water resistance without a tested rating, and we do not publish load ratings without a documented test. If a rating comes in later, it goes on the page then.
Because a labelled number is honest and a bare one is not. The day our own measurement lands, the label changes to measured and you can hold us to it.
What we do not sell you
We do not rate gear for life safety
- No duty retention levels on anything we make
- No ballistic or protective claims about fabric
- No load ratings without a documented test
- None of our carry bags or mounts is a safe: nothing locks, and nothing prevents unauthorized access
We state fit by measurement
- Pouch and carrier fit is published as measured internal dimensions
- Holster combinations are only orderable where they are supported
- Belt and strap sizing comes from a size guide, not from a pants size
- We do not publish a compatibility list we have not verified
Some products are regulated or restricted where you live. Knowing and following the laws that apply to you — including local rules on firearm storage and transport — is your responsibility before you order.
How the operation runs
We are based in Miami, Florida, and we ship from a single fulfilment operation in Central Florida — one location, one inventory, no split shipments from three warehouses that never talk to each other. Free shipping on every order inside the United States, with no minimum. We do not ship internationally at this time.
Where to start
Bags & Packs
The 14L modular backpack and the crossbody bags, photographed open and empty.
Pouches & Organizers
Zip organizers, magazine pouches and radio carriers that mount to what you already own.
Belts & Hardware
Equipment belts, ratchet belts, magnetic mounts, buckles and catches.
Everything in the catalogue shares the same attachment logic. If you are building a setup from scratch, start with How to build a modular belt setup or EDC layers: pocket, belt and bag in Field Notes.
If a spec you need is not on the page, ask.
We would rather answer a question than sell you the wrong size. Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Eastern, usually answered within one business day.
