ICONTACTIC Magnetic Phone Mount for Straps and Webbing

Taking the phone out of a bag a dozen times a day adds up. The ICONTACTIC Magnetic Phone Mount fixes a magnet-ring compatible phone to a shoulder strap, belt or modular webbing, so it lifts off with one hand and snaps back when you are done. A coiled safety tether stays clipped to the phone. Choose the elastic strap clip for pack straps and belts, or the webbing clip for modular webbing and wider belts.

Overview

The mount is a round machined body with a magnetic face. On the back, the clip you choose is fixed: an elastic strap clip that slides onto a pack shoulder strap or a belt, or a modular webbing clip for MOLLE-style webbing and wider belts. The body carries a threaded camera mount and a cold-shoe fitting for accessories. A coiled safety tether with a clip at each end connects the phone to the mount. Magnet grade, holding force and included accessories are published after supplier verification.

Compatibility

Works with phones and cases that carry a magnet ring. Holding force depends on the case; use the safety tether for active use. Phone models are not listed until verified.

Setup and use

Slide the elastic clip onto a shoulder strap or belt, or weave the webbing clip through modular webbing. Clip the tether to the phone and to the mount. Place the phone on the magnetic face and check that it seats flat before moving.

Care

Wipe the magnetic face with a dry cloth and keep it free of metal filings. Check the clip and tether for wear. Do not use solvents on the adhesive ring.
