Yes, if the phone or case has a magnet ring. Phones without one work once an adhesive ring is fitted. Holding force varies with the case, so we do not list phone models.

Which clip should I choose?

The elastic strap clip slides onto pack shoulder straps and ordinary belts. The webbing clip is for modular webbing and wider belts.

How big is it and how much does it weigh?

The magnetic face is 62 mm (2.44 in) across on both versions. Will the phone fall off?

What is included?

The mount with the clip you selected, a coiled safety tether with a clip at each end, an adhesive magnet ring for cases that do not have one, a lanyard tab, and a hex key for swapping the clip. That is the whole box: no tripod, no camera accessory and no phone is included with the order.

Can I use it hiking or climbing?

That is what the strap clip is for: the phone rides on a pack shoulder strap, lifts off with one hand and snaps back without opening a pocket. For anything active, clip the coiled tether too; it is the backup if the phone gets knocked.

Does it give the phone a fixed place?

Yes, that is the point. The phone lives on the mount, on a strap or on modular webbing, instead of migrating between pockets and bags. Same spot every time, and the tether keeps it attached while you use it.

Can I mount it on a bike or in a car?

No. The two clips are made for pack straps, belts and modular webbing. The threaded camera mount and cold shoe take accessories, not vehicle mounts, and we do not recommend it on a vibrating surface.
