Rest the weapon on the face and it stays. Lift it away and it comes free: no clip to open, no strap across it.
Carrier, cummerbund or belt
Two snap straps weave through the PALS webbing on the front or back of a plate carrier or on the side cummerbund, or close around a belt.
Ferrous steel only
Built for carbines, rifles and shotguns, and it holds steel tools too. Aluminium, polymer and stainless parts are not held.

A retention aid, not a sling, not a holster and not a safe. It parks the weapon against you; it does not secure it.
Where it goes
On the PALS webbing at the front of a plate carrier, at chest height.

On a belt, next to the buckle. The two snap straps close around it.

There is no clip to open and no strap across the weapon. It comes free when you lift it off the face, and seats again when you set it back.
Two magnets behind the band.
Two neodymium magnets sit behind the centre band, so the weapon lands flat against the face. Supplier-published figures: 42 x 42 x 10 mm per magnet and 50 kg of holding force.

The cover measures 85 x 95 mm (supplier-published), about the size of an open palm. One size, sold in black only.
